"I can’t say enough good things about my recent experience with Hunter at Hopkins Pro Services. He came in to install our new engineered hardwood floors, and from the get-go, I was blown away by his craftsmanship. He paid incredible attention to detail—making sure boards didn’t create any weird patterns and even setting aside unique pieces for spots where they’d truly shine. Now when I walk across my home, it feels like I’m admiring a piece of art. Makes me a little bummed we bought rugs. He also did a bang-up job hanging several doors for us. And when we realized our new hot water heater was way too big for the space (my mistake), he saved the day by rerouting a bunch of plumbing and temporarily removing a door—without damaging anything—to fit it in. It was a tricky situation, but he tackled it with ease and saved us a ton of hassle and extra costs. Another highlight was his design advice. We have this old stairwell that looked outdated. Hunter came up with a simple yet brilliant plan to paint certain areas that wouldn’t show as much and replace some sections with new baseboard trim to match the rest of the house. The result is awesome, and it didn’t break the bank. Throughout the process, I never felt pressured or judged for doing some parts of the renovation on my own. In fact, Hunter’s guidance and support left me feeling confident about tackling more DIY projects in the future. But when it comes to big, important jobs, I’ll definitely be calling him back. If you want artistry, practicality, and a genuinely great person to work with, Hunter’s your guy.
